We strive to provide patients with world-class medical care in a comfortable, relaxing, friendly and efficient environment. To achieve these objectives, we must develop a cooperative and symbiotic relationship with our patients. In fostering this relationship, we have developed a comprehensive cancellation and no show policy. We believe that this policy will assist us in streamlining the appointment process and will provide greater coordination of patient flow within our office. One of the foundations of the policy is an appointment reminder system. This system sends reminders at strategic time intervals before each appointment. We therefore require patients to provide us with an email address and a cell phone number to facilitate the reminders. Patients are also required to respond to the reminders, either to confirm or cancel their appointments.

If a patient does not respond to the reminders, his or her appointment may be assigned to a patient on our waiting list. If the appointment needs to be cancelled, please provide a minimum of 24 hours of notice for a general office appointment and 48 hours for a surgery appointment. There are fees associated with non-compliance of this policy.

Our no show/cancellation fee policy is as follows:

Late Cancellation for a general office visit (Monday – Friday): A fee of $25.00.
Late Cancellation for a general office visit (Saturday): A fee of $50.00.
Late Cancellation of surgery Appointment: A fee of $50.00 (Mon – Sat).

We maintain a Saturday schedule (please see our office hours for details of our Saturday schedule) to accommodate patients who cannot make weekday appointment.

As a courtesy to these patients, please ensure that you are able to honor these appointments before you make them.

No Show Fees: All no shows will be assessed a fee of $50.00 for the first occurrence, and a $65.00 fee for each occurrence thereafter.
